Executive Director Vanita Gupta joined NYU law professors Rick Pildes and Sam Issacharoff for a wide-ranging conversation about the 2026 midterm elections. The trio discussed recent litigation over the Trump Administration’s efforts to implement new voting rules, how the United States’ election system compares to those of other democracies, and what work is underway to prepare for various threats to election integrity.
The event was co-hosted by the Center for Law and Public Trust and the Democracy Project.
